Success Secrets - Tips For A Person Uncertain About Their Future

Author : Mike Litman
There's been a time in all of our lives when the future has looked cloudy, hazy, and we have trouble looking through the fog. There have been times in our past that you and I have wanted a result so bad, but we just couldn't find the open path on the trail.I know that feeling.Been there, done that.I was there for 7 years. Maybe you can relate to it.I received an email this morning from Roger And, because I know where Roger is coming from, I want to answer it for everyone's benefit. Here's what Roger wrote:Hi, Mike,"Let me ask you a question. I don't
live my dream because I don't know what
it is. At age 53 I am stuck in my
day-to-day rut and don't even have a dream within my work day. Will your products help me in this somehow?"Regards - RogerThank you for the very honest and important question. The answer to this question could last hours, but I want to touch on a few important points here because many of us one time in our lives or even now, can relate to Roger.Let's start here.I used to be really bad at what I call 'run and routine'.Here's what this means.I was running around the same each day, in the same routine, doing the same things over and over again, almost unconsciously it seems, and running around in circles.I wasn't moving forward at all.Really, I was moving backwards.I've found that too many people are in the 'run and routine' type mindset, never getting any real TIME to think about their life and their dreams.I've been there. Done that. It's not too fun. Here's what's helped me a lot and here's what can help Roger and maybe yourself. When you're not sure of your dreams, when you're not sure what direction you want to go in, the first thing you must stop is the 'run and routine' mindset. Here's what you need to replace it with. This is what has really helped me when I found myself in a tough spot.If you want more clarity about your future, you need to adapt the 'stop and think' mindset. You need to Ssslloooowwwww down and give yourself TIME to look over and plan your next steps. And here's the tool you need:QUESTIONS.Let me explain. You need to take the time and grab a piece of paper and a pen.You need to do this because few people ever really look at their lives and get clarity. The reason why most people never get the 'answers' they're looking for is they never ask the right questions, or really any questions. Here's a few sample questions to write down and answer:"I'm not clear about what my dream in life is, what are 2 things that I really enjoy spending time doing and how can I begin to spend more time doing them?""If a family or friend was going to describe me in 75 years to a 15-year-old in my family, how would I want to be described, what would I want my accomplishments to be, what would I want my legacy to be?""If I really loved myself, how would I want to spend my days?""If I was going to make $200 next month in a part-time business, what are 3 potential ideas I have that I can begin with?"There are hundreds of questions we can ask; make up some yourself. The 2 keys are these:1) Every question asked repeatedly will give you an answer.
That's how your subconscious mind works.2) If you don't write down your answers and keep them in your head, you're wasting your time. All the mega successful people I know understand that writing things down gives you clarity in your life.YOU have to begin the HABIT of writing down things important to you.Roger also asked me whether my products could help him.I've spent over $100,000 in my life on books, courses, seminars, etc...I plan on spending much more than that over the next 30 years. All my successful friends do the same. Why? Because you and I don't know everything. You can shortcut your path to success through learning from others and you can join thousands of people that have used my products to change their lives. If you need to justify your purchase, this is how I do it:If I spend $500 on a product and I get 1 idea and I use it, it could be worth thousands. It's pretty simple, you need to invest in yourself. The longer you wait, the longer you wait for results in your life.I'm not you, but if I was, I'd pick up today:'The Power of Concentration Success System'.This is the system I used to develop the proper mindset and habits. If you procrastinate too much and have a lack of focus, this system will help you and also increase your in.come.Roger, I hope I answered your question. You need to take the TIME to 'stop and think' about your life.If you ASK the right questions and invest in yourself, you get the right answers.Talk to you soon.Mike Litmanwww.mikelitman.com/Mike Litman's Success SecretsMike Litman is the co-author of the #1 Best-selling book Conversations with Millionaires.
