Peace and What we can do about it

If i guessed it right, you must be wondering if you come to the
correct site or whether you typed the address wrongly and landed
yourself into another junk website. Well, it saddens me to say
that none of those has happened and you are here because like
others, inlcluding me, you are searching for the one missing
element in our life which has eluded mankind for the better part
of last 100 years - Peace.
Before you make a run for the next site, i am not trying to sell
you anything. All i am asking is spend 5 minutes, Read what i
have to say and you can either proceed to the next site or open
your email client and tell others about this site.
We are living in a world where each morning if we dont read
about War, Bomb Blasts, Suicide Bombers etc... we think the
world has gone crazy. That unforutantely is the true nature of
all people living on this planet. Some might disagree, some
might even blatantly lie, but deep down thats the truth. why?
how? because thats what you were told to expect when you grew up.
The Actions of one Individual for his/her vested interests
invariably affects a million people every single day.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Eastern Europe, Srilanka, Somalia
and many others are caught up or have been caught up in this.
That is the Bigger picture. As a common man, we can protest, we
can go on hunger strikes, we can demonstrate to show our power ,
we can refuse to pay taxes and we can do what many others are
doing right now somewhere in this world.
But that is not the purpose or the aim of this site. If you want
to start a Forest Fire, you cannot go one fine morning and set
it all ablaze at once. You need to start somewhere, in a corner,
on a leaf and hope it spreads.
Hope, it is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously
the source of your greatest strength, and your greatest
weakness. 1 Similarly i want to start with you and hope it
spreads.
Just think for a minute, how many times you would have had an
Argument with your Parents, Girlfriend, Boyfriend, Wife,
Husband, Boss, colleague or with anyone else.
Why? because you believe in something which they dont or because
you want something which they dont approve of?
Mankind came into this earth millions of years ago and for most
part of that time, no one exactly knows what we were doing on
this planet. It has been generally assumed that we were living
in caves, living with the animals that roamed at that time and
we lived what we call now an Uncivilized life.
But, what has been generally agreed is we lived in peace. We
Lived in peace with animals, with the nature and most of all, We
Lived in peace amongst us.
No one can and has really said why we started fighting. We can
formulate theories, write books on the possible assumptions. but
the reality is no one really knows.
Now Imagine, that something for which you were arguing for is
given to you.
What will you do with it? Can you do something greater than what
the other person has done with it?
Now Imagine, having got that object of your desire, you go out,
throw a party, get drunk and on your way back home, you meet
with an accident and die. I sincerely hope that something like
that doesnt happen. But like how we have been taught to think
all possibilities, lets imagine that scenario.
No one really knows whether there is an Afterlife or not. lets
assume there is none. Now that you are dead, what will you do
with that object? you can immediately say, what if the other
person had died as well? You are quite right in your thinking.
For something which is of no use to you after you are dead, you
fought with the other person, thus breaking the friendship you
both had and the next time you both see each other, you must be
cursing them inside you and waiting for a chance to get your
revenge.
Now for some part of your life, you are going to spend time to
get the other person down. But Imagine, what you both could have
done with it if you hadnt fought for the same object.
Maybe the object in question is something which many others can
benefit from? maybe it could help save the lives of many people?
maybe it can help change the way we live? the possibilities are
endless. This is just one of the examples i can give you. There
are many, many other scenarios which happen every single day in
our daily life. Stop, Think for a minute and then act.
So what if the other person has said something bad to you or
done something bad. You dont have to retaliate. You dont have to
prove a point. History has given us many examples of Victory
without bloodshed, acts of violence. Dont wait for others to
start, Dont wait for others to follow you, March Ahead with
pride and others will soon take notice and will be with you.
There is still time. There is still a way. Together We can make
this world a Better Place to live for now and forever.

Sometimes, Wall Street has a very convoluted way of looking at
things. For instance, consider the term "smart money." One would
think the term "smart money" would refer to a professional
investor with incredible talent or a fund manager, market
strategist or analyst that has had consistent success over
different market scenarios, spanning many years.
Or perhaps a trader/investor who has an intimate knowledge of
the market and has mastered the tools of his trade, including
technical and fundamental analyses, hedging and option theory,
and an expert knowledge of the global economy.
Wouldn't this definition be a better fit for the term "smart
money"? Maybe, but not in Wall Street's eyes. On Wall Street,
the term "smart money" refers to someone with 'privileged'
information, who uses it to their advantage. This person, fund,
or group doesn't necessarily have any special ability, talent or
expertise.
They only know something that the public has not been made privy
to. They have a piece of insider information that they sometimes
use illegally to profit in the market. It happens all the time.
So, on Wall Street, "smart money" is often synonymous with
cheating or illegal activity.
For many years, most professional traders and even individual
investors have studied long and hard in order to acquire skills
that would aid them in their quest to be better, more competent
traders or investors. However, not having access to the same
level of information as 'smart money' sometimes puts the retail
investor at an extreme disadvantage.
A person with insider information has a crystal ball. He knows
the outcome of the game before the game is even played. The SEC
has rules in place to try to prevent this from happening but
these rules haven't eliminated the problem because the SEC
cannot always 'prove' their case. Therefore, there is still a
lot of "smart money" out there.
Most "smart money" traders try to keep a very low profile for
obvious reasons. The easiest way for them to do this is in the
options market where there are fewer participants thus fewer
eyes and ears to notice any unusual trading.
Further, the options markets offer much greater leverage,
allowing "smart money" to reap even greater rewards. For
example, If you knew that XYZ stock was going to report bad
earnings, and you knew this ahead of the 'market', it would be
much cheaper and more profitable buying puts in the options
markets as compared to just shorting the stock.
This is exactly what happens, and it happens more than you
think. The game is always easier when you know the outcome
before everyone else, and these 'smart money' players are out
there making fortunes in the options markets because they know
what you don't.
"Follow in the footsteps of elephants"
What do we mean by this?
When a stock's option volume and implied volatility increase
significantly, it is often a harbinger of things to come.
Although the stock's price action may seem quiet and uneventful,
not reflecting any unusual activity, the stock's option activity
can be telling a very different story.
An unusual and greater than normal increase in option volume or
implied volatility can be an indication that large, informed
'smart money' players (the elephants) are placing bets on
upcoming events or announcements. These announcements can often
have a significant impact on the price of the underlying stock,
as with important corporate earnings, or other news.
These "smart money" traders or "insiders" who have privileged
information will try to act on this information before it
becomes public knowledge. The trading of options allows these
"well informed investors" to increase their leverage and enables
them to maximize their gains without risking their identity.
So how can we, as retail investors, benefit from this knowledge?
A significant increase or abnormal fluctuation in the trading
volume of a stock's options and/or a substantial increase in the
daily implied volatility of the stock's options can be a
precursor of a major movement of the respective underlying
stock.
Sudden changes in options volume and implied volatility can be a
tip off to potentially explosive moves in individual stocks. A
move of great magnitude is almost always going to be fueled by
news, but correct analysis of option order flow can alert one
before the news is disseminated to the public.
Often this type of news strikes hard at the heart of a company's
future prospects for growth and profitability.
Examples of these types of news are the following:
1 Earnings substantially better or worse than Wall Street
expectations
2 New product developments or breakthroughs
3 Mergers and acquisitions
4 Upgrades/Downgrades coverage by Wall Street Analysts
5 Media coverage

Five keys to setting attractive sustainable goalsWe've all been there. How many of you have set up new year's resolutions only to discover that you have slipped after the first week or been to a workshop and sworn that this time you are really going to achieve those dreams you have had at the back of your mind. Be honest with yourself about it and when the "yeah, but" tape starts playing remind yourself that you are not given a dream without the capacity to make it true. This is particularly true if you find that you have a recurring desire about something.Key Two – Write them downThere's something about the human brain that doesn't seem to see things as real until they are visible or written down. Pick 3 – 5 goals that you want to achieve for the coming year and write them down. Make sure that they are measurable. Many of us remember the oil shortages of the late seventies. They caused more than just the inconvenience of occasional gasoline rationing. Several elderly people actually died in the New York City area because of a lack of heating oil. Some people thought it would only get worse, and we would run out of oil completely before long.Interestingly, at the same time, gold and other things much rarer than oil were available to anyone who wanted them. This gives us a clue to what causes an oil shortage, or any other shortage. It is usually just one thing.Oil Shortages Are Caused By Price ControlsActually, almost all long term shortages of basic commodities in a modern economy are caused by price controls. Other than economists, not many people know this. They clamor for price controls when prices rise, and these controls then cause shortages. They do it in about ten ways. Examples of three of these ways follow.First, under price controls, the law said that oil producers couldn't sell oil for more than a certain amount. Of course they immediately closed wells that were producing at a cost higher than that. Reducing the supply sure isn't a cure for a shortage, is it? His breath is slow and steady and his eyes almost all-closed but slightly open. His neck nestles over the crook of my arm and I stare at his face as he breathed in and breathed out. A feeling of overwhelming love washed over me. I was totally at peace as I watched my son sleep in my arms. <p><p>I must say that theres absolutely nothing quite like it at all. <p><p>When was it that he got so big? Hes almost too big to fit into my arms as his legs dangled off the edge of my other arm. He speaks almost in adult-fashion now but in child lingo. He has mastered the art of writing and drawing a very funny and individualistic sketch of the sun and a smiley face. He is old enough to tell me that his favorite color is red and favorite number is 4. I know I am his mom but the effects of being a protector, a caregiver; a mom has never failed to astound me. <p><p>Sometimes daily needs outweigh the needs of our children. Their need to have us by their sides to kiss the wounds and to heal the tantrums. They need us now what else can be more important than that. They need us to tell them that its OK when others are not nice to them and that they dont have to avenge the bad behavior of others. They need us to tell them that its OK to feel bad when theyve made a mistake and are asked to say sorry for the mistakes. They need us to bring them out in the playground and teach them about nature, about living and about the world. They need us. Period. <p><p>There are times that I wonder if I should just give up the working arrangement that I have fiercely fought for for the past 5 years and go back into the rat race. There are weak moments when I wonder if I have done the wrong thing and have pampered them by trying to be an overly positive parent. I wonder too, if my kids are good kids or bad kids. But now I know, theres no such thing as a bad kid; and a good kid is a stroke of luck. <p><p>Everything becomes worthwhile when he runs over to me and shouts, Mommy!!! My mommy! and come crashing into me, bumping my nose and cracking my lips with his forehead. He buries his head into my shoulder and I bury mine into his. We stay in that position for a full minute before we peel apart and start planting wet kisses all over each others faces. We dont care about germs, do we? I just want to kiss him until the day I die just kiss him senseless and no one can tell me that I cant kiss my own baby that way. <p><p>But till when will this luxury last? Our kids are borrowed treasure for we know they wont remain babies for very long. My babies wont need me for very long now. Soon, theyll be old enough to prefer their friends to me. Soon enough, theyll want to go out with their friends and wont want me to tag along. Soon enough, theyll only speak to me when they want my car or want me to pay their cell phone or Internet bills for them. Soon enough, theyll have a life of their own and mine is kicked aside. <p><p>So, for now, I treasure this 3-year-old baby in my arms, lying so soundlessly sleeping in the crook of my arms. He fits just perfect right now. <p><p>How I wish he would fit into my arms like that for the rest of my life.and his. But I know he wont. Most of the time, your search for a tenant to rent your vacant apartment will go smoothly. Occasionally though, there may come an applicant that makes you feel uncomfortable. Also, he or she may show you a few signs during the decision process that your rental applicant could mean future trouble.There are also definite signs that perhaps you should take a pass on a person. These signs do not have to be part of your intuition. Rather, most are very specific, and often intimidating signs that you should take a pass on the applicant.You need to think about the kind of professional relationship you want with your future tenant. Make note of these types of issues you have with your rental applicant. Consider them when making your rental decisions:He or she questions every decision or part of your application process;Every discussion becomes a debate between what you are doing regarding your process, and what he or she thinks you should be doing;He or she tries to rush you through the process, constantly calling you for an answer, despite saying repeatedly you will get back to him or her when you have completed your course of action;The applicant appears to have a short temper, especially when you ask specific questions;The applicant makes you feel nervous whenever he or she is around you;He or she does not want to give you information you have a legal right to have to make informed decisions;You feel severely intimidated by the applicant because he or she tends to yell or raise his/her voice when he/she hears something they do not like, or, stands over you or very close to you when making a point or, points his or her finger in your face when
talking, etc.You smell alcohol on the applicant's breath each time you meet;The applicant appears to be under the influence of something more than alcohol – eyes are dilated, the person acts fidgety, can't seem to stay still, etc.I call these intimidation factors, regardless of whether or not the applicant is doing it on purpose or unconsciously. One or more should cause you to think twice about the candidate.You want a long-term tenancy period over a number of years that will be free from stress, constant questioning of your authority as the homeowner, or your house rules, and constant bickering. If you and the applicant are not getting along before you even complete the process, it will not get better after he or she moves in.You should make a note of the date and time you have these types of encounters with an applicant, and include it in their file folder. Then, when it comes time to decide between one applicant or another, your notes can remind you of situations in which you felt you and the applicant were not on the same page.You do not have to rent to a person who makes you feel uncomfortable, or out of place in your own home. Take detailed notes, then move on to other applications.

They need to determine what keywords a prospective customer could use to find the business online. From this list, they must make a determination as to which keywords / groups of pertinent keywords they can reasonably expect to achieve high rankings for the client…for it makes no sense to waste effort on keywords where success is remote. Then, the SEO must map the targeted keywords to the page(s) on the website where they most logically fit. The most critical keywords on the list need to map to the index page because the index page possesses the most search engine "strength" of any website page. If there are keywords that can't logically map to any existing area of the site, the SEO might want to rely on the services of a copywriter to add website content.The SEO then "massages" the website text, working the targeted keywords into the existing content with dual goals:1) Achieving optimum keyword density and optimum page length.
2) Making the text read as naturally as possible.Building inbound links is also a critical part of SEO. Many business websites will naturally attract inbound links over time—however, few websites achieve enough natural link strength to exclude a targeted link-building campaign as a component of their SEO efforts. Over time, an SEO can acquire large numbers of targeted inbound links through networks…however, an SEO must be carefully not to acquire too many inbound links too quickly as that can be construed as search engine spam.Link text (the text that someone uses to link to you) is a critical element of link trading and SEO. The link text needs to contain the most important keywords to the SEO effort since link text is given a lot of weight in search engine algorithms. Furthermore, link text shouldn't always be the same…it needs to be varied so as to cover the breadth of the website's top keywords in order to achieve optimum results.My SEO finished the textual optimization and link-trading. The process is complete, right?Not quite. An SEO will also monitor the levels of web traffic the site is generating, as well as the search keywords/search engines used by website visitors. A business might be focused on the rankings the website is receiving for their top keywords…of more value to the SEO is reading their web stats to see how site visitors are actually finding the website. Armed with the necessary information, the SEO will tweak the website text over time to achieve optimum rankings and results for the client. One can see some results of the initial textual optimization relatively quickly…however, it could take 3-6 months to see the results of a link-building campaign in conjunction with optimized content. For optimum results, a link-building campaign should never really end…new inbound links should be added every month.If 93.4% of B to B purchase decisions have an internet component, businesses that have "Internet Invisible" websites can only equally compete for 6.6% of the total market. An SEO campaign can get a company noticed by the 93.4% who go online to research and or purchase a product or service.
