How different would the world be if we all agreed to follow the same powerIt's about time that we should be able to prove there is only one power. The fact that various people call the power by different names will never alter this fact. The various religious groups and cults that have worshipped this power for thousands of years, have in fact given it a bad name. The fact that people go to war in the defence of their power is absolutely ludicrous. Why don't we all own up and draw a line in the sand and agree that there is really only one power. If all these different powers [Gods ] were actually there, do you suppose they would organise people to fight each other in their name. I very much doubt it, I should imagine that they would have some super dooper way of settling disagreements, if thats what they wanted. The fact that the one power is used to head up so many differing religions, must be really confusing to administrate. I suppose that is why the power does not take sides, it only gives everyone more of what they are thinking.I personally feel that the power is for the use of the individual and when it is used by a group it tends to lose its true purpose.Trying to say that your God is superior to my God is something that will never be settled. Have you ever taken time to study the varying major religions of the world? you will find that they are very similar in all they teach, they just seem to alter to suit various aspects of different cultures. Even the Christian Bible has some very aggressive solutions to some ancient problems. All the teachings thousands of years ago were safe, because the layman could not read or write, therefore the only message that could be broadcast, was what you decided to tell people.The Bible itself was not written, until 400+ years after the death of Christ by an athiest, who saw it as a way to control the masses. I doubt if the guy who put the Bible together King Constantine realised, that sixteen hundred years after he had done it, there would be a world that had freedom of speech and access to information that was usually kept secret. Obviously all the time there was control over the information and there were enough people to preach the various teachings, everything would hold together.I really don't want to start a slanging match here, but I think that science has brought us to a point where we can make up our minds, as to the probability of various stories etc.. As I said before I firmly believe in the power and I really do not care what people decide to call it, I just think that there should be a movement towards a universal acceptance that there is only one power. The sooner that we get onto this path the sooner that things will sort themselves out, and the world could actually live in harmony. Someones beliefs make no difference to me whether I get on with them or not, I judge people by who they are.I suggest that we all follow the path of LOVE, GRATITUDE, FORGIVENESS. The power does not discriminate, it only gives us exactly what we want. The problem is it has trouble working out exactly what we do want.
