"God examine me and know my heart; test me and know my nervous thoughts. See if there is any bad thing in me. Lead me on the road to everlasting life." Psalm 139:23-24I close my eyes, bow my head in prayer and in my mind I see this picture.
I am quickly traveling as a space shuttle cutting through layers of the atmosphere. Suddenly, I stop in front of the earth. I am standing with him in the atmosphere. The earth is small in comparison to us. It is like a ball in his hands. I know this man and he knows me. I step closer to him to see what he is looking at. I see him peering into the earth, his eyes fixed on his creation. In this moment, it is as though I can see with his eyes. I look and see people, lots of people. They look so busy, going to and fro. For a moment I watch and now he's looking deeper, into their hearts. Now I see a people filled with anxiety and fear. Immediately I felt my childlike soul scream, "people, don't you see Him?" "It's all under control." "He's much bigger than I ever thought and He's holding the earth in His hands." "Oh his hands are huge and he is so gentle." "He's watching over all of you, right now." "Don't you see Him?" "Don't be afraid, he's here, he's here… In my frustration I turned and asked him, "Don't they see you, Lord?" "Why do they worry so much?"He is quiet, ever watching.I look again.He's looking into my heart.Now I understand.I stand humbled and in silence.He lovingly takes my hand and we walk on….."I am guiding you in the way of wisdom and I am leading you on the right path."
