I sometimes receive requests from my clients to communicate with their loved ones who have died and I usually point them to a mirror. Why should they not be able to see or talk to their loved one when they are in need? I am not a medium with God given powers, I simply utilize an ability we all have. That ability allows me to chat with people dear to me who are on the other side. So, why not you? Give it a shot, I promise you have nothing to lose. You do not have to be a new age guru or believe in anything specific, you just have to have an open mind to the possibility.Dreams - Most of us are visited in our dreams by our loved ones. Sometimes we are aware that they are with us and other times we dismiss our dreams as just that - dreams. If you would like your loved one to visit you in your dream, before you got to bed, ask. Ask them to visit you and tell yourself that you will remember your dream. If you want them to come to you for a specific reason, for example you want to ask them a question, then ask before you go to sleep. Make sure you verbalize your reason for wanting them there, whether it's just to see them, feel them or talk to them, let them know what you would like from them.Meditation - Contact with a loved one through meditation is hard, but rewarding. The type of meditation that is required of you is called "a trance". A trance is the deepest meditation of all. In a trance you would still be conscious and aware, but so deep in that you would be open to the "other world", the spirit side so to speak. Meditation does not come easy to most. It requires calming your busy mind and listening to the silence within. To do this you may sit or lay down, what ever you choose, you must be comfortable. Next envision a light shinning down on your feet, a warm white light, see the light traveling up your body leaving a tingling sensation. See the light slowly going past your knees, hips, chest, neck and then going over your head. Once it is over your head, envision it making a circle around your body, a circle of protection. Slow down you breathing and feel your body relax. At this time call (mentally) your loved one by his or her name and ask him/her to join you in the way she/he is most comfortable. Now envision yourself in a long white hallway, filled with many doors. There are white doors to the left and right of you. As you look at the end of the hallway you are not able to see anything. You will envision yourself walking down the hallway at your own pace. With each step you take your body will become heavier and heavier. As you start to let go and fall into a trance, the end of the hallway will get clearer and a door will appear. Once you reach that door, you will know that on the other side is your loved one. As you are ready, you will open the door and greet the person you are looking for. As I stated earlier, this method of communication does not come easy. So practice, practice and when you are ready you will get to the end of the hallway.Talk - This is something that many of us already do, talk those who have crossed over. If there is something you want to say to your loved one, just say it. They will hear it. If you keep talking, your loved one will talk back sooner or later. You may feel them around you, smell their perfume or an object around you may move on it's own but they will communicate with you. When they do, it is important to acknowledge their communication, do not shrug it off.Automatic Writing - Automatic writing is similar to meditation. It requires of you to relax your mind and body. You would need to surround yourself with white light just as if you were doing the meditation. Instead of going into a trance you would ask your loved one to communicate with you through writing. Make sure to have a pen and paper ready. Relax your hand when holding the pen and allow it to be moved.Whatever you may decide to do please remember to have patience and to take your time.
