Heaven Bound

Author : Edward Garvin
Heaven is defined as the abode of god, the angels, and the souls of those granted salvation. It is state or place of great happiness. A place of peace and serenity, with entry only gained through possession of a ticket punched with holes of good deeds, honesty, and a genuine love of his fellow man. Heaven, a logical destination of any person whose time on earth is sometimes spent pondering an after-life.The will and desire to be good can easily become tarnished, left standing in the air of today's cold harsh world. One only has to open ones eyes to witness the reality of evil and its existence. This eyewitness account of today's world tends to cloud ones vision, deceiptively presenting a world upon a scale tipped more toward evil, and less toward good. This is an illusion, an illusion that can lead to despair, the discount of good intentions, fostering feelings of isolation – as if ones goodwill an intentions are far outweighed by a world of evil and tyranny. The French Philosopher Joseph Joubert once said, " Heaven is for those who think of it". Joubert succinctly states that are actions shall deliver us to our desired destination. Heavenly acts performed while here on earth create the blocks which makeup the path whose end is that of providence. If heaven is your destination, it must be embodied in all your earthly actions.Spirituality is a virtue, desired by most, and with many avenues of access. One such expression is through the written word. If you seek spirituality and have a desire to write, maybe a spiritual blog is for you. Start your own blog today!!Think your blog, be your blog!
